So, welcome. I suppose this is the beginning of something grand. Or at least something great. I'll even take something good.
I've been wanting to start a blog for awhile now, mostly because, if you know me at all, you know how much I fiercely dislike answering my phone while I simultaneously fiercely love my family and friends. This is a compromise of sorts, if you will. A balance between the crazy of life and the therapy of disclosure. And goodness knows, I could use a little less of the former and a little more of the latter.
For the eight of you perhaps reading this first blog post, I'm sure you know my path and have heard my tales. But I shall pretend as if you don't - mainly because I like the remembrance that comes with a story retold. And if for some odd reason or another, you don't know me from the man in the moon, then I hope my tellings acquaint us as friends, in a promise-you're-not-stalking-me kind of way. We can start with this, and move on from here: I'm a girl, who has just married a goose.
My hope is that you, reader of my very first blog post, whether you're familiar or unknown, will come back for more. More of what? Life, loves, strong dislikes, learnings, leaps, legends, geese, ramblings, commas and down-right nothings. A smorgasbord of me -- packaged, tied and glittered -- just like I like it.
